What is this site?

A place for me to share various notes I wish someone else had written for me when I needed them. Also, random ramblings I might have.

Unfortunately my employer prohibits open source contributions, and I don't know if this site counts as "open source contributions", so the site is closed source. It's really just a Docusaurus site though.

Why?

I have an unhealthy obsession with documenting shit.

Helping people

Helping people feels good. If I have helped at least one person or made someone's day more interesting, the effort was worth it.

AI

The Internet has been filled with bots for a long time, but I remember a time when interactions felt more organic.

In an AI-slop infested world where the discerning reader has to constantly second guess every other sentence, I promise any poorly written content on this site is poorly written by a human. Same goes for the code.

Writing

I realize that I am not great at writing and expressing my thoughts. I hope with practice I will get better.
